WORLD CUP!!!!
it's now 3 am in the morning, and i gotta wake up at 6 tmr for work. BUT... who cares? it's the WORLD CUP!!! whoo hoo!!! i'm currently watching the Italy vs Ghana match and its not too bad. FINALLY the Italians decided to give up their TIGHT nipple showing jerseys for something more normal, but honestly speaking, they dont look... ITALIAN without their gay jerseys. And the Ghanians are running like beheaded chickens around the field trying to get the ball from the Italians, and they aint doing a bad job of it too. WORLD CUP ROCKS!!!
i think the only people in the world who dont ilke it are the wives and girlfriends who have to put up with their husbands and boyfriends railings about the world cup. you guys know the history behind the world cup? i mean how it started? This greatly kept secret is finally gonna come out in the open. Here's the story behind it:
ok, once upon a time there was a short stumpy man by the name of Jules Rimet, who had a wife who always brought him shopping. One day, he was milling around the mall waiting for his wife to complete her painstaking procession thruogh the department store that she had already walked through at least seven million times, he came up with this brilliant idea on how to hit back at her. He knew the one thing his wife hated, was soccer, so... when he got home he got all his football buddies together (who he met at the mall) and they formed the Federation of Irritated by Frequent trips down the Aisle (FIFA). Together, FIFA came up with a trophy for men who constantly had to go down the aisle when they could have been playing soccer. FIFA, deciding to give credit to the pioneer of this idea, named the trophy the Jules Rimet trophy. Every 4 years, such men would gather at some location prefixed by FIFAand indulge in their one commmon passion, liberation from the shopping aisle. And that my friends, is how the FIFA World Cup, first started.
Interesting eh? bet you never knew this. Anyway, Italy just scored again from a wonderfully bad pass from a Ghanian defender. ok, match is about to end, i'm about to sleep. Goodnight!!! tune in next time for more History lessons on the FIFA World Cup. :)
